Trip details
The main focus of this trip will be shark diving, the species we hope to see are Mako & Blue Sharks! We have seen other types of sharks such as Silkies, and Hammerheads on these expeditions.
There is also the chance to see a variety of other wildlife including Sea Lions, Rays, Turtles, Dolphins (sometimes even Orca), and Whales (Humpback, Gray, Blue, Sperm, even Fin whales are all possibilities in Mexico). The wildlife in Baja never disappoints, we have had some of the most incredible animal encounters of our lives on these trips. This expedition is a great way to meet and connect with like minded people while exploring a new country!
trip itinerary
day 1
Arrive in Cabo Airport, transfer to the hotel in Cabo San Lucas. Evening introductions and a quick shark diving briefing before heading to a welcome dinner.
day 2 - 4
A quick breakfast and we will head to the harbor, the boat slip is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel, but we will offer transportation for those who don’t want to walk or have heavy camera housings. The shark diving days will be 6-8 hrs long, these are long days on the water but will give us the best chance for great shark action!
After the boat will head back to hotel, have some chill time to get camera and dive gear ready for the next day, then head to a group dinner(optional, but always fun!).
Day 5
This day will be our earliest start because we are making a 2 hr drive across Mexico to head to La Ventana! Here we will look for Mobula Rays and Big Animals. We have seen Orcas and Sperm Whales on our day trips to La Ventana, as well as many other species. It is one of the most amazingvplaces to search for wildlife in the world!
We regularly see pods of hundreds of Bottlenose Dolphins and thousands of Mobula Rays out there! After our Safari Day we will head back to Cabo for the night.
Day 6
Check out, say our goodbyes, head to the airport or stay in Mexico a little longer!
pricing + inclusions
Trip Cost: $2900 per person
A deposit of $1000 to secure your spot on the expedition. The deposit is non-refundable and can be paid via Venmo, Paypal, or direct transfer. The remaining trip cost, $1900 is due no later than Jan 1st, 2027. If you need a payment plan please reach out and let us know!

Airport Transportation:
There are two options for airport transportation, the first and most convenient will be Uber (if you take this route just show us your receipt on arrival and we will cover the cost) The second will be taking a airport shuttle, this we can set up for you but it will make stops on the way so it is not the fastest mode of transportation.
Dietary Restrictions:
For outings and dinners, we can can easily cater to vegetarian guest’s when planning meals, but in Mexico it will be a little harder to find Vegan and Gluten Free options. Everyone will have a kitchenette in their room so there will be an option to cook your own meals if that’s more convenient to your dietary needs. The food in Mexico is amazing and Cabo has some great restaurants!
Culinary travel is another one of our passions and we like to make sure that everyone has some great and memorable meals during their trip. Dinners are not included in the trip price and totally optional, but a fun way to get to know each other and explore the town we are staying in!
